The château of Basseux was built in 1788 by the Viscount of Gouy. It is a beautiful property, in the middle of a large wooded park. To get there, just follow the cobbled path beneath the leafy canopy. Before you even catch sight of the elegant facade, enhanced by sky-blue shutters, you are likely to spot Manon the little donkey, grazing peacefully in the meadow. Then Corinne, the cheerful owner of the Entre Ciel et Terre holiday cottage will come to greet you. Spontaneous and friendly, she will be delighted to show you the lovingly renovated house. Go into the studio, with its beautiful mezzanine bedroom. It comes with independent access opening onto the terrace and the lawn of the grounds. A home with plenty of light and a distinctive character.
