NATUR’POM – EDUCATIONAL ORCHARD

Stimulate your taste-buds and your brain, visit this orchard for a new experience. A journey among flavours and nature.

They started by taking grandpa’s old fruit press out from the back of the barn. There were a few old apple trees in the orchard, and Christian made his first apple juice. Just for family, friends and neighbours. Then the ideas began to blossom. Tasting tours, replanting trees to bring back the flavours of the past, loaning equipment and all the while continuing to press. Apples of course but also experimenting with new blends. Apples, pears, raspberries and blackcurrants. Juice or nectars, soups or cocktails, he’s tried everything. As long as it tastes good! And then educational visits, to explain to the little ones but also to the older visitors. Teaching about the life cycle, from the flower to the fruit, how to recognise the different varieties, tasting the different flavours.

The real advantage

You can even celebrate your birthday in the orchard. Fun and games between the apple trees are assured.
